From My Heart: Rev. Jyoti DeVernie

Greetings!

A special thanks to all who helped with our sanctuary reconfiguration. We were able to fit in nine more chairs, which is a wonderful thing since Spirit has not yet revealed our new space. We replaced our trusty old projector and screen with a large TV monitor, so our video presentations are easier to see and MUCH more colorful. Thanks to all who brought their skills, creativity and muscle. The sanctuary looks, sounds, and feels GREAT. If you haven’t joined us in a while, come and soak up the great energy and take in the powerful teachings.

Don’t forget to turn your clocks ahead for Daylight Savings Time, if they don’t do it automatically. We “save” some daylight, but we lose an hour of sleep. What an interesting world we live in! But once we move to Daylight Savings Time, spring isn’t far behind. Ah, spring: new life, the planting of new seeds and new opportunities.

We are certainly planting new seeds here at Center for Spiritual Living Boulder Valley as we vision and prepare for our new space to be revealed. Join us for visioning after Sunday service on the first and third Sundays of each month. It’s a powerful process and all are welcome. We are, of course, looking for new space in the traditional way – with a great realtor – but I keep sensing that it will show up in a magical way. What I absolutely know is that it is in process NOW – that God is making all the connections and preparing the way even as I write this. God reveals our space with ease and grace!

The annual convention for Centers for Spiritual Living, our parent organization, is currently in progress. Every other year it’s a virtual convention, meaning it’s all done online. We’re having Watch Parties at the Center for the evening programs, and there have been some great speakers and GREAT music. If you’d like more information, including video presentations from our organizational leaders, go to http://vista.csl.org.
And join us on Thursday evening at 6pm for the closing night of music and great speakers.

Our theme for the month is Integrity. It’s about living authentically – letting Spirit express through each of us in our own unique way, and doing so with honesty, truth, fairness, and respect. As we live our lives in integrity, it ripples out into a world so desperately in need of it.

We’ve had some great Outreach projects (thank you all!) and this month is yet another one. We’re raising money in support of brain cancer research and Leanne Goff’s journey of healing. See more about it elsewhere in the newsletter, including ways to donate. If you have a favorite charity you think would be great for our Outreach, let me know. We’re now in the process of completing the Outreach Calendar for the rest of the year.

Did you know that our Sunday message videos are posted on our website, cslbouldervalley.org, along with lots of other information? If you’re not able to make it to church on Sunday morning, you can still catch the message, and you can also support the Center online by clicking the DONATE button.

In March, I’ll be in the office on Thursday afternoons from 2:30-5:30, as usual. I’m also in the office at other times by appointment. Feel free to call if you’d like to come in to chat or to pray, or if you have suggestions you’d like to share.

As March brings the end of winter and the beginning of spring, it’s a great time to consider what seeds we want to plant – in our gardens and in our consciousness. I look forward to seeing you on Sunday mornings!

Journey joyfully, knowing that you are blessed, and you ARE a blessing!

Love, Reverend Jyoti
