April Outreach: Greenwood Wildlife Sanctuary

Thousands of baby birds, waterfowl, and mammals come to Greenwood Wildlife Rehabilitation Center each spring.  Let’s help gather needed items for these babies!

They need…

  • Baby food: chicken-only, turkey-only, and banana-only (no mixes – e.g., chicken and rice)
  • Oxbow Timothy Hay & orchard grass
  • Birdseed – finch, pigeon/dove mix
  • Grit for small birds
  • Bleach
  • Copy paper (8.5″ x 11″)
  • Dish gloves (small and medium sizes)
  • Dish soap (unscented)
  • Facial tissue (no lotions or scents, white only)
  • Forever postage stamps
  • Gift cards to grocery & office supply stores
  • Heating pads (not auto shut-off)
  • Liquid hand soap (unscented)
  • Natural feather dusters (cannot be stored with moth balls or have moth ball scent)
  • Paper towels (white)
  • Plastic spray bottles (25 oz)
  • Trash bags (contractor 3 ml. heavy duty, 45 gallon, and tall kitchen)
