Dear beloved community,

Sometimes life brings to us opportunities that we didn’t expect. The divine is always conspiring for our highest good. It knows what we need and it knows where to direct us in order for us to expand our consciousness in the highest and best way. Suddenly we feel pulled to end a relationship, leave a job, move to a new city, or choose a totally different path and it doesn’t make sense when we look at it through the lens of our logical mind but Spirit isn’t logical. Spirit leads us in a direction that will always produce the best outcome for everyone involved. Our logical mind will question, judge, criticize, and pull us down the road of fear and anxiety. Spirit knows however, exactly what is needed in every moment. If we can truly surrender, then we can let go and let God do God’s perfect work in our life. If we resist what’s in front of us, wishing it were different, standing back judging and criticizing, and spiraling downwards into fear, we miss the beauty and magnificence of the divine that is trying to work its magic in our life, guiding us to that which will bring us the most growth and expansion as a soul.

Many of you know that last month I received guidance from Spirit to leave CSLBV and to move up to Loveland to be a part of New Thought Northern Colorado as one of their co-ministers. NTNC is a 100-person CSL Center that has two CSL ministers and two Unity ministers. One of the head minsters has asked me to be her successor. Such a blessing and a gift to be guided to this opportunity and yet, it also leaves a deep sadness in my heart, for I love and adore our CSLBV family, which I have been a part of for the last 4 years. First as a practitioner and ministerial student in training, then as the assistant minister for a year, and finally, the senior minister for the last 4 months. I happily accepted the role of senior minister with all my heart and had no intention of leaving this soon but clearly, Spirit had other plans for me.

Saying yes to this opportunity has been one of the most difficult decisions of my life. What allows me to say yes is the fact that as I tune into it and pray about it, there is a pull from Spirit. I know that I must surrender to this guidance and to Spirit’s highest vision for my life, trusting what the divine has in store for me and for CSLBV as well. I can say yes because I trust and know that I’m being guided to something that is aligned with my next highest expression as a minister and as a soul. I know that it’s not just for my highest good, it’s also for the community’s highest good, for it cannot be good for one and not the other.

My last day as the Senior Minister will be Sunday, March 15th. Instead of a party that day, I will be creating a ceremony and ritual during service, centered around releasing the past and stepping powerfully into the future. I invite you to join me in this sacred ceremony.

As we navigate this time of change, please know that our practitioners are available for prayer support and I am also available if you have questions or concerns. A Town Hall has been scheduled for Sunday, February 23rd, following service. Please consider joining in on the discussion of where CSLBV is headed. This is an opportunity to share your ideas and thoughts with the community and to participate in creating an amazing future for CSL Boulder Valley.

May the changes taking place inspire you to step into your own greatness and surrender to Spirit’s highest vision for your life.

Much love and many blessings,

Rev. Lea

As a supporter of both CSLBV and Rev. Lea, I applaud her decision to follow her inner guidance for whatever experience she is to have in the continuation of her ministry. And, my thoughts and prayers always linger with CSLBV, and what was New Horizons Church of Religious Science. And just as the name of the Center has change for a greater realization of the Good of God unfolding in the Center, so will a replacement minister come forward that will meet the intentions established for CSLBV. The Universe abhors a vacuum, thus the position will be filled and the Universe is moving in that directions to do so as the Board or Core Council of CSLBV do the work in Spirit necessary to align with the Universe to manifest the next perfect minister for CSLBV.
