WOW! was founded in 1996. Their mission is dedicated to providing educational, interactive exhibits, programs and activities for all children by bringing families together in a creative environment that sparks imagination, inspires learning through play and supports school readiness.
They believe in the power of play. Their interactive, hands-on exhibits allow children to explore, create, inquire and discover, helping them develop critical thinking, problem-solving and physical skills.
They love math and science and help kids love it too through drop-in science programs or by bringing hands-on science education directly to the classroom. Sparking an early interest in math and science is critical to developing science-savvy adults.
They connect community and help make memories. They connect children to caregivers, families to families and people to the place we live. By working with local musicians, artists, educators and storytellers, they connect children with the rick resources available in our community and help teach them about their world.
