Mother House’s mission is providing mothers in crisis and their babies a nurturing, supportive, and empowering residential community.
Since 1982, Mother House has been much more than a shelter. It is a program designed to help its residents develop the skills to become good parents (if they decide to parent), as well as become successful and responsible members of society.
We take in at-risk women in their second trimester and help them prepare for their future. Mother House seeks to support any pregnant woman in need, regardless of race, religion, ethnicity, sexual orientation, or gender identity. We believe that everyone deserves the opportunity to succeed in life, and we are doing our part to provide guidance and care to at-risk mothers and their babies. Mother House is a caring, home environment, and we ensure that each of our residents and our staff members are always respected and supported.
