Greetings,

Our hearts go out to all those affected by the tragedy in Las Vegas, and all those who are hurting all over the world. We send light, love, and peace!

As I write this, Mary and I are in beautiful Asheville, North Carolina at the annual CSL Ministers’ Gathering. It’s relaxing to get away and heartening to get together with other ministers to share ideas and inspiration, especially knowing that you’ve had some great guest speakers while we’ve been gone.

In case you’ve wondered what happened with the Silent Auction, the Board decided that since the response wasn’t as enthusiastic as expected, it would be best to cancel the Silent Auction, at least for now. We are, however, still supporting SmileTrain as our October Outreach project since cleft lip and palate is an easily correctable problem that affects lots of third world kids. $250 buys a smile and a new lease on life, so let’s collect as much money as we can to make a difference in the lives of some kids and their families.

I’m looking forward to our Prosperity Plus class which begins on Tuesday, October 10th. This is a class that invites us as individuals and as a spiritual community into not only greater financial abundance, but more of what we want in EVERY area of our lives. The principles we teach work to bring in more money, greater health, more love and companionship, more life satisfaction, and more peace. When we open our hearts and minds and say YES, the Universe says YES, YES, YES, YES, YES! If you haven’t signed up yet, give me a call at 303-668-0411.

Though I was out of town, I was delighted to hear about the success of our first Third Thursday Spiritual Forum, and look forward to this month’s Forum – Dreamwork as a Spiritual Pathway. You’ll find more info elsewhere in the newsletter. Join me on October 19th as we explore the messages in our dreams.

Our theme for October is Love as Safety, which comes from our organization’s stated value that “We create a community wide climate conducive to honest reflection and deep and direct communication.” For of course in order to communicate honestly from the depths of who we are, we must feel safe, which requires that we not only experience love and respect for ourselves, but also love, respect, and healthy communication skills in our interactions with others.

In October, I’ll be in the office on Thursday afternoons, as usual. I’m also in the office at other times by appointment. Feel free to call if you’d like to come in to chat or to pray, or to share your thoughts about ways to make our Center even more magnificent.

I look forward to seeing you on Sunday mornings! Journey joyfully, knowing that you are blessed and you ARE a blessing!

Love, Rev. Jyoti
