Amazing changes and amazing grace!

Last month, Reverend Jyoti DeVernie announced her upcoming retirement, effective September 22. We embrace Jyoti in her divine guidance that this is the exact right time for her and wife Mary (‘Sacred Spouse’, as we say) to embark on their next chapter! Jyoti has made great strides in her ministry, as our spiritual leader and for the CSLBV community. Thank you thank you thank you! Plans for a wonderful gratitude-filled sendoff will be forthcoming. Stay tuned!

Reverend Lea Alvarado and the Board of Trustees (Catherine Snider Pres., Sandy Rinehart VP/Treasurer, myself, Secy., and Jim Schink Member at Large) have met, conferred, accepted, decided and plan to now have Rev. Lea as our Senior Minister. Our by-laws allow us to do a direct-hire. Rest assured that we are spiritually and financially solid in our plans going forward. We are pleased to no end, grateful and know that this too is divine guidance. Rev. Lea has the experience, backbone and open heart to take us to the next level, being our next larger space and so much more. Her vision includes a co-minister.

Please join us at our next ‘Town Hall’ meeting on Sunday 7/28 after potluck, to share your feelings and ask any questions that you may have regarding this transition, Rev. Lea’s ideas about going forward as well as to explain her plans for a co-minister. We had a great Town Hall gathering last Sunday and I believe everyone left feeling confident and complete. Amazing changes and amazing grace!

At any time if you have questions or just want to talk, please contact any Board member, Practitioner or one of our fine Ministers.

The Colorado Rockies invite you to the 15th Annual Colorado Rockies Faith Day at Coors Field! This year’s event will take place on Sunday, August 18, 2019. We are pleased to announce that this year’s musical guest will be GRAMMY-nominated and Dove Award winning singer/songwriter, KARI JOBE! With over 1 million albums sold, her timeless songs continue to lead people into God’s presence. We are excited to have her at Coors Field! Many churches view this day as a church-wide opportunity, but if that is not the case, we ask that you please forward this information along to others in your organization that might have interest in bringing out a group. This post-game event has been a fan favorite, and we are looking forward to another big day. Besides being a great outreach opportunity, Faith Day offers Colorado churches and Christians from all over the state the chance to come together for a time of fellowship at the ballpark!
