The Science of Mind Archives and Library Foundation in Golden is looking for help.
The Archives has a number of projects and is looking for on-site volunteers to come and be an active part of preserving our Science of Mind history. They would greatly appreciate your assistance with getting the word out to those who may be interested in your communities. (Note: Practitioners can get CLU credits for volunteering here! Win-win!)
They are looking for:
- People who enjoy working with books and entering our vast library into our new database.
- Folks who would love helping our new volunteer photographer organize the collection of historic photos into albums and eventually scan them so they would be available on the internet for the whole world.
- Do you like scanning documents or are willing to be trained? We are working to get the rest of Science of Mind magazine as well as Creative Thought magazine onto the Archives website so they will be available for free download.
- General office assistance is always welcome! Revealing someone who is computer literate and very flexible, who can jump in and help with the project of the day, be it a mailing, organizing files, working on a database, organizing a new project, researching topics, etc.
They have have a lot of fun there as they all work together to realize their great vision: To Preserve, Protect, and Present Science of Mind Philosophy and History to the world, for generations to come!
Please pass this information along to all who may be interested. If you are interested, please call or email Kathy Mastroianni at: 720-496-1361 or firstname.lastname@example.org. Thank you so much for your help!
