Join us on the fourth Wednesday of every month as we present workshops and curriculum from the Spiritually Guided Social Uplift Ministries (S.U.M.), developed by the Association for Global New Thought (AGNT).
Approaching the issues of the day with a spiritual focus that transcends the polarizing political agenda that can discourage churches from engaging, AGNT’s new Spiritually Guided Social Uplift Ministries (S.U.M.) is here. At last, New Thought takes a leadership role in offering our own signature curriculum based on New Thought principles.
At CSL Boulder Valley, we’ll be meeting the 4th Wednesday of each month from 6:30pm to 8:30pm to learn, discuss, and explore. March and April will be devoted to Gun Responsibility and Healing Violence. This is a powerful curriculum and the CSLBV sessions will be facilitated by Reverend Jyoti and Kelly Robbins, RScP. Love offering. You can contact her for more information.
The 2019 curriculum features four of nine modules:
- Gun Responsibility and Healing Violence
- Healing Racism and Upholding Ethnic Fairness
- Religious Diversity and Inclusion
- Homelessness and Poverty
In 2020, the remaining five modules will be offered:
- Climate Truth
- Women’s Issues and Rights
- Immigration and Refugee Rights
- Health Care
- Gender and Sexual Identity & Expression
By following the leadership of communities most affected by injustice, Spiritually Guided S.U.M. models restorative justice and builds capacity for social change because we know that “the Whole is Greater than the S.U.M. of its Parts.”
