March 17: Spiritual Cinema – Patch Adams

Not a misprint! We’re watching it again. The true story of Hunter Patch Adams who determined to become a medical doctor because he enjoys helping people. He ventured where no doctor had ventured before, using humor and pathos. For Patch, humor is the best medicine, and he’s willing to do just about anything to make his patients laugh – even if it means risking his own career.

Based on a true story, Patch Adams combines sidesplitting humor with an inspiring story that transcends the traditional comedy. Stars Robin Williams, Daniel London, Monica Potter.
