Daily Self Care

The holidays can be a challenging time. Seasonal affective disorder, some people have an uptick in their to-do lists, connecting with family of birth, less than supportive eating habits and dealing with addictions can all be part of the holiday formula.

Service To Self is a foundational and super important piece for our daily self-care. The Magic Of Surrender, by Kute Blackson, is chock-full of beautiful wisdom and a great tool as we embrace health and well-being. I’m going to share six questions from the book. If you’re called, I would invite you to incorporate these questions into your daily spiritual practice. I’ve been journaling about “where am I lying to myself” for over a week now and it has been transformative and beautifully supportive.

  1. What lies am I telling myself?
  2. What am I pretending not to know?
  3. What is the payoff for staying stuck?
  4. What has the lie been costing me?
  5. What am I afraid might happen if I tell the truth?
  6. What right action can I take today?

The holidays can also be a beautiful access or portal to our Exquisite Internal Light. When we shift our perceptions and embrace reframes, gently massaging challenge areas into neutral energy or even Joy, Love and Light, our quality of life can be magnificent! .
