Jan 29: Annual Meeting and Board Elections

24580673936_56d58ea02d_zCenter for Spiritual Living Boulder Valley’s Annual Meeting will be held on Sunday, January 29, 2017 at approximately 12:30, following the potluck.  All are welcome and members are eligible to vote.

There are two seats on the Board of Trustees up for election this year.  One is currently occupied by Sandy Rinehart in the capacity of Vice President; and the other by Linda Williamson as member-at-large.  Both have expressed their interest and willingness to serve another 3-year term.  The Board of Trustees is delighted by this.

Any Member in good standing who also meets the education requirements (one foundational class and one other), who is interested in serving on the Board, is welcome to talk to Laura McGee, Board President.  The Board must be notified at least two weeks prior to the annual meeting in order to add any additional candidates to the slate.

Also, in accordance with the Bylaws, the Board is empowered to fill any vacant seats, and did so on December 10, 2016, when the Board issued an invitation to David LeNoble, R.Sc.P.  David has made a tangible difference at CSL Boulder Valley, and we appreciate David’s willingness to also serve in this capacity.  David will be completing the term vacated by Maureen Detmer last Fall, which has an additional two years remaining.

Cathy Snider, Treasurer, and Barbara Weirich, Secretary, each have one year remaining on their existing terms.

The seat occupied by Laura McGee is not up for re-election this year, and she has affirmed her intention to serve out the remaining two years of her term.

Please feel free to talk with any member of the Board of Trustees if you have any questions.
